Cristina Săulescu, Partner Cabot Transfer Pricing, has been active in this profession for over 20 years, both in the public and private sectors in Romania. Cristina has a degree in economics from the West University in Timișoara and is a member of the Chamber of Fiscal Consultants in Romania, for over 14 years now.
Before starting her career as a tax consultant in the private sector, Cristina worked as a principal inspector within the General Directorate for the Administration of Large Taxpayer, Fiscal Inspection Activity, and in parallel she was a lecturer at various courses in the field of taxation. Within the General Directorate for the Administration of Large Taxpayers, Cristina participated in general fiscal inspections, as well as VAT refunds for large taxpayers and was part of mixed teams that carried out financial-tax investigations.
The experience of over 15 years in the private sector consists of a wide range of coordination and development of tax consultancy services, accounting, specialized assistance on mergers and acquisitions projects, tax compliance, consultancy on transfer pricing issues both at the national level, as well as regionally.
Last but not least, Cristina has written several articles on tax topics, and has extensive experience as a lecturer and trainer supporting a series of conferences and workshops on various topics in the field of national and international taxation as well as transfer pricing.
